Spreading LOVE on CTV News!

LOVE recently welcomed CTV News in our Old Montreal offices and was featured in an amazing article that highlights our mission, our programs, and the past 30 years of LOVE’s work.

During the button-making workshop led by our coordinators Kelsey and Maiya, LOVE youth discussed social issues that are important to them and learned about various social causes they can support and how to. As always, LOVE’s workshops are a space in which youth can feel safe to share their opinions and ask questions free of judgment, and we are glad to be able to share our mission to a greater network. Our office is also an open space for youth to come hang out with friends, do homework in a peaceful environment or grab a snack.

Robyn, our executive director and Liezl, our director of strategic operations both spoke to CTV News about their work and what it means for youth to have a safe space like LOVE both in schools and outside of school hours, where they can develop their sense of self, their confidence and their social skills. You can watch the whole report here!

We are so happy to have been visited by CTV News and are honored for the continued support from our network and communities. We could not accomplish our mission without your help and support and thank you a thousand times over for contributing to our success. We want to especially thank videojournalist Matt Grillo for putting together this incredible article highlighting the work that LOVE does!
